Homemade Bisquick Mix

I came across this recipe in one of the blogs I follow called Homemade Mamas. I have yet to try it but they raved about it! It is so much cheaper and doesn't have any extra unnessesary ingrediants in there. Here it is!

What you will need:
9 cups flour (I used whole wheat flour)
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
1/4 cup baking powder (different from baking soda in case you are like me and didn't know that! haha )
2 cups solid vegetable shortening

In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. I used my kitchen aid mixer and it was fast and easy. If you don't have one the Homemade Mamas suggested using your hands!!! It makes A LOT! Once it is all mixed together put it in a air-tight container or a large zip lock bag. You don't need to refridgerate!

Good luck and let me know what you think!
